    • Modifying the Windows desk top and program menu; customizing the Windows
      operating system.

      creating a disaster plan.

    • Commonly used browsers; how to use a browser; bookmarking (favorites);
      downloading files; receiving and sending e-mail; search engines; plug-in and
      helper applications (Win Zip).
    • Understanding differences between Viruses, Spam (Malware) Phish, how to avoid,
      remove.
    • Understanding Virus Protection, AntiSpyware Software and Firewalls.
    • Using the internet effectively and safely.

Internet-Intermediate:

    • Downloading and installing games, songs and programs, safely (including understanding
      the potential risks involved, ie: Copyright infringement, viruses, phish, etc).
    • Recognizing viruses, etc, safe removal. (Expanded on basic info above).
    • Recognition and usage of "helper programs" ie: Hijack this, Advanced Windows Care,
      Adobe Gamma.
    • Creating and managing user groups (MSN,Yahoo) Message boards, www (phpbb,
      Yuku, Sudden Launch).

Computer Graphic Design:
    • Choosing and installing software (Photoshop v. Paint Shop, Photo Impact).
    • Using Paint Shop-create simple signatures.
    • Understanding, downloading and installing filters.
