Web Site Design
COST -- $75 per page (includes graphics and descriptive text) plus a $50 set up fee. Additional charges may apply. For example, there may be additional charges for data base or e-commerce templates or shopping cart programs. However, some web hosts include these in their cost which means there would be no additional charge to you.
Discounts will be given for seniors and non profit organizations. Non-profit organizations may qualify for free web hosting (ask me about this). If you are a horse owner, and are a member
of AQHA or the NRHA, then you qualify for special rates. All web sites are designed with the site owners budget in mind. Web hosting costs are extra.
WEB SITE DESIGN -- for either a www site or MSN groups site. Each page is custom designed to fit your needs and personal taste. It can be as simple or as fancy as you choose. There is no minimum page requirement. Each page consists of one main graphic (logo or masthead) specifically designed for your website, discriptive text, up to three photos and three external links. You also recieve two hours of website updates complimentary to be used within the first two years. Additional graphics and content will be added for an additional fee (ask me for a price list). All you need to supply is the photos (and copyright information). You can use one of my source codes (page layouts) or, if you have an existing site, use your current code (providing you have permission to do so). It's all up to you to decide what you want.
Each site will be submitted to the following search engines: Yahoo, MSN, Google. Key words will be provided at no extra charge. Additional keywords or site submission can be done as per my hourly rate. Each site owner will be given the opportunity to advertise on the AQHA "Q-Market". Current cost is $25 (US) per month with a three, six or twelve month commitment. This is an amazing value as AQHA currently records 4 million hits per year on their website. Your website can be submitted to other web sites who offer a link sharing service, the cost will be minimal, however any monies charged by the other website will be added to your cost.
WEB SITE REDESIGN AND MAINTENANCE -- already have a site, but want update your graphics or add a little oomph to your photo's or graphics? Do you need someone to maintain your site? I can help you with that too. Hourly rate is $50.00, however, I charge by the minute and do not round up. For example: if I spend 20 minutes on your site, I charge you only $16.80, how can you lose at this price?
WEB HOSTING AND DOMAIN REGISTRATION -- I can host your website for you. Price is dependant upon the size of your website. I strive to keep this price as low as possible, you will be charged the same amount I am charged for this service. Domain registration and domain renewal is $10 a year. I am willing to set this up for you, or if you prefer you can set up the webhost account yourself. If you're a backyard breeder, small business owner, or non-profit organization you may even qualify for a free website account. Ask me about this!
